The Alpha Wattmeter represents a revolution in RF power measurement. State of
the art integrated circuit technology and innovative design techniques have combined
to deliver a mix of features, precision and convenience previously only found in a
laboratory-grade power meter. During operation, the 4505 simultaneously measures the
frequency of the signal and the internal temperature of the unit, and compensates for
those factors in determining measured power. This assures linearity in the accuracy
of measured power under changing operating conditions. Internal calibration errors
are also further reduced by use of proprietary sampling and differencing
techniques. The 4505 outputs all data to your PC via a serial cable and with the Alpha Wattmeter software allows you to monitor forward power, SWR and reflected power simultaneously. |

|
|
The 4505 requires a nominal 12Vdc, 600mA power source. It is shipped with
a universal power supply that operates from 85 to 260 Volts AC, 50 or 60 Hz |
The Alpha 4510 Wattmeter is the gold standard in wattmeters.
This revolutionary new wattmeter features state of the art integrated circuit
technology with innovative design techniques that combined deliver the features and
precision of a laboratory grade power meter. Al of this in a visually stunning and
ergonomically designed meter providing both analog and digital readouts. This is a
must have instrument to go in-line with your IC-7800 or FT-9000DX radio and that
Alpha 87A Amplifier.

The Alpha 4520 Wattmeter: That’s right big boy! Alpha has
designed the perfect compliment for your Alpha; you’ll be able to accurately measure
how much you’re breaking regulations. It’s kind of like being pulled over in a
Porsche and being able to answer with smug satisfaction, "why yes officer, I do
know how fast I was going." Our 5kW wattmeter utilizes the same superb hardware and
measurement algorithm as in our 4510, but it allows you to measure up to 5000 watts
of forward and reflected power as well as SWR.This is a must have instrument to go in-line with your IC-7800 or FT-9000DX radio and that Alpha 9500 Amplifier. |
